Dustin Michael is one of the former lead singers of Diddy’s protege group, B5. Popularized after releasing a remake of the Jackson 5 song “All I Do,” B5 released two successful albums with Bad Boy records before gracefully parting ways.

In 2010 after a small hiatus, the group signed with the legendary record label Motown and were in the studio crafting a new sound under a new name. Returning back to their B5 roots they released their buzz track “Single” as a free listen for the fans. In 2013 they released the promising single “Say Yes,” with a video that garnished them over 5.5 million views on Youtube and followed with them landing a spot as a featured act on the Backstreet Boys’ In a World Like This tour.  Shortly after the release, the group decided to call it quits due to conflicts with management.

A short time after, Dustin began to move on to a solo career as an independant artist. In November of 2015, Dustin Michael made his official solo debut with “Pay It Forward,” a song about trying to find his way in the new music world on his own and keeping his love happy at the same time. The video was filmed with beautiful background and landscaping of Paris, the city of love, and also payed homage to the city and the bombing victims at the end to show support to those lives lost in the tragic terrorist attacks.
By the new year, Dustin released “Different,” a 5-track teaser mixtape, and has used the project to segue into his release of “Just Like Marvin” ft Kevin Gates. His current single Kodeine Nights ft YFN Lucci has been gaining traction online and with a video release coming soon.
